Each teacher’s attributes were analyzed including gender, age, level of education, school size, years of teaching experience and specific teaching duties. This study is based on questionnaires distributed to 172 Junior High Schools around Taiwan. The sample consisted of 524 teachers with 501 effective questionnaires. The findings of this study are shown below: 1. Junior high school teachers’ have a higher than average psychological capital. 2. Junior high school teachers’ have a lower than average workload and burnout level. 3. The teacher gender, level of education, years of teaching experience and specific teaching duties affect their Psychological Capital. 4. Specific teaching duties are significantly related to workload and burnout. 5. Teachers' psychological capital, workload and job burnout are significantly correlated.
