This study done by literature review and action research is to investigate the feasibility of applying “reversible figure” with information technology to visual art curriculum of higher graders. The subjects consist of thirteen boys and fourteen girls are L elementary school sixth graders in researcher’s visual art classes in Taichung City Shengang District. The purposes of this study include: (1) to analyze the trend and theories relative to the application of information technology to visual art teaching; (2) to investigate the visual principle of “reversible figure” and its application to visual art curriculum of higher graders; (3) to estimate the teaching effect of applying “reversible figure” to visual art curriculum with information technology. The conclusions are as follows: 1. Applying information technology to teachers’ teaching artistic creation is a developing trend. 2. Applying reversible figure to visual art curriculum with information technology is favored by students. 3. The traits and multiple content of reversible figure have concrete effect on students’ aesthetic cognition and artistic learning thinking. 4. Students can bring their creativity of visual art into full play with this curriculum. 5. Reversible figure curriculum is practical in daily life. 6. The creation of reversible figure increases students’ interest in creation and use of colors. 7. The planning and maintenance of computer equipment affect the teaching quality. 8. Teaching activities have positive effect on students’ mutual cooperation.
