Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育行政研究所 === 101 === The study aims to investigate the relationship among elementary school principals’ knowledge leadership, teachers’ professional learning community, teachers’ professional development and school effectiveness in Kaohsiung. The study also explores the different effects of background variables on these four variables. Furthermore, the study analyzes the current situation of these variables and verifies the research hypotheses. The study adopts questionnaire survey method. The research samples are the teachers at public municipal elementary schools in Kaohsiung City. 360 teachers are drawn by stratified random sampling. The statistics methods used in this research are as follows: factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, pearson’s product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression. The conclusions are summarized as follows: 1.Principals’ knowledge leadership has a positive and significant influence on school effectiveness. 2.Principals’ knowledge leadership has a positive and significant effect on teachers’ professional learning community. 3.Teachers’ professional learning community has a positive and significant impact on school effectiveness. 4.Principals’ knowledge leadership has a positive and significant influence on teachers’ professional development. 5.Teachers’ professional development has a positive and significant influence on school effectiveness. 6.Teachers’ professional learning community and teachers’ professional development partly mediates the relationship between Principals’ knowledge leadership and school effectiveness. Based on the results of the study, this study provides some specific suggestions for educational administration authorities, schools, teachers, and subsequent researchers.
