This case study is formulated by applying “resource-building mechanism perspective" (Feng-Lee Lin, 2009) to investigate the entry model of Mega International Commercial Bank into Mainland China. The goal is to investigate whether the location of the branch and entry model of Mega International Commercial Bank into Mainland China is good strategy or not, and, to predict the management result. In the “resources-building mechanism” theory which defines a firm’s physical-energy-spirit equivalents: physical to a firm’s physical properties, energy to a firm’s driving power, and spirit to a firm’s frame of mind. Phyical, energy, spirit are the three essential elements in the making of a resource. Each of the three elements interacts with one another. The resources-building relies on utilizing both a firm’s internal and external resources. The internal and external resources optimization are mutually enhanced, interacted and ultimately merged. From the “Resources-building mechanism” perspective to explain the entry model of Mega International Commercial Bank into Mainland China. The conclusions are drawn: 1. The entry model of Mega International Commercial Bank into mainland China is the aggregation of the interior “resources” and the exterior “market”. 2. The entry model is composed of internal tangible assets, business model, business strategy, and external target market, location, market trend. All these factors interact with one another. 3. The performance is positively correlated with the coordination and conciliation of the above six factors. Therefore, by appraising the degree of conciliation, we can measure the beneficial result. 4. Because of the high degree of adaptation of the above six factors, forecast of the entry model of Mega International Commercial Bank into Suzhou in China will bring well beneficial result.
