Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 教育測驗統計研究所 === 101 === The purpose of this research was to explore elementary students’ solving performance of the problem in different type representation fraction test. In the research, the sample was third and fourth graders. The effective samples were 317. The tool used in this research was the different representation fraction test. The validity and reliability of the different representation fraction test was constructed. Data amassed was processed by descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, paired-samples t- test and one-way ANOVA. According to the results analyzed from the investigated data, the different representation fraction test had great test characteristics. There was apparent discrepancy between different grade students in different representation fraction test, and the performance of fourth graders’ was better. The third grade students’ solving performance of the problem in graphical representation fraction test was better, and the fourth grade students’ performance of problem-solving had no discrepancy in graphical representation fraction test and symbolic representation fraction test. In the different scores students’ performance of the different type representation fraction test, the third grade students of middle and low had better performance in graphical representation fraction test. The fourth grade students of high had better performance in symbolic representation fraction test, and the fourth grade students of low had better performance in graphical representation fraction test. The result showed that graphical representation could help the students of low understand problem situation, and could upgrade their ability of solving problem.
