Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 企業管理研究所(含碩專班) === 102 === This research discusses the issue of competitive advantage for smart phone company – HTC. This research uses the eight forces analysis to analyse the competition, also refer resource-based view (RBV), competence-based view (CBV), and dynamic capability view (DCV). This research compares the differences of competitive advantage between these three views and also induces some attributes, such as value, distinctive, collective, and dynamic, then to uses the competitive advantage to propose an integrated framework. And to uses SWOT analysis to find out the HTC’s strengths, weaknesses, opptunities and threats. Finally, this research finds out that HTC only owns RD’s dynamic capability, and the dynamic capability was good enough for conform the market before. But the market is changing, company owns one dynamic capability is not good enough to maintain competitive advantage, HTC needs to distribute more source to marketing for conform to the market.
