Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 特殊教育學系研究所 === 103 === Abstract The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of the predictable books instruction program on reading comprehension of three fifth-grade aboriginal students. The single-subject experimental design for multiple probe design was used. The independent variable was predictable books instruction program. The dependent variable was reading comprehension which comprised immediate effects and maintenance effect. The results of this study were as follow: 1. The predictable books instruction program facilitated the effects of reading comprehension for three fifth-grade aboriginal students in the treatment phase of the study. 2. The predictable books instruction program facilitated the effects of reading comprehension for three fifth-grade aboriginal students in the maintenance phase of the study. 3. The predictable books instruction program facilitated the effects of reading comprehension for the study of three fifth-grade aboriginal students. It also indicated a high social validity .
