The study used the questionnaire based on stratified-sample approach. The instrument used was the self-developed investigation tool “questionnaire of job stress and teacher efficacy of newly revised curriculum guidelines of special education for resource room teachers in elementary school in New Taipei City’’ . 170 resource room teachers in elementary schools in New Taipei City were asked to complete the questionnaire and 156 surveys were returned. All of the data collected were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, and One-way ANOVA which through the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results were shown as follows: 1.When facing newly revised curriculum guidelines of special education, resource room teachers in elementary schools perceived the job stress and techer efficacy tended close to middle degree. 2.Different gender, resource room teaching seniority, special education teaching seniority, number of normal class, number of resource room class, teaching area of resource room teachers in elementary schools in New Taipei City had a significant difference in job stress. 3.Different gender of resource room teachers in elementary schools in New Taipei City had a significant difference in teacher efficacy.
