Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所 === 104 === This research was intended to investigate the effects of the implementation of the Task-based Language Teaching in English curriculum of vocational high School on students’ English listening and speaking proficiency. By designing real-life tasks to help students experience a more interactive learning atmosphere. The TBLT was carried out for 16 hours within 8 weeks by taking 20 students from sophomore class at the department of Marketing and Logistics as subjects. The data of the research were collected through pre and post-tests, classroom observations, and interviews. The findings of this research are summarized as follows: 1. The students’ English listening and speaking proficiency improved after the implementation of TBLT. 2. The tasks in TBLT need to be simple, interesting, interactive, and real-life realated. 3. Instructors need to pay attention to time and classroom order management, when using TBLT. The findings of this study can provide a reference for English teachers and future researchers.
