Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 歷史與地理學系社會科教學碩士學位班 === 104 === The aim of this research is to explore the use of cartoons on Gender Equity Education on Primary 2 pupils; study the teaching program, teaching portfolio and the academic achievement of Self Awareness and Interpersonal Relationship, the two core abilities of Gender Equity Education. The study used Action Research method to analyze 28 students of Primary 2 pupils of New Taipei City. According to the Competence Indicator of Gender Equity Education, select cartoons as teaching materials and prepare six Gender Equity Education themed courses, then teach two lessons a week, a total of twelve lessons. Through various methods such as content analysis, focus group and observation, combined with analysis and inductions on before and after tests; unit work sheets; course feedbacks; parent feedbacks and other data collations. The study’s conclusions are as followed: A. Using cartoons on the implementation of gender equity education program is a feasible and effective teaching method. B. The teaching program designed by the researcher with six themes: 1. division of housework; 2. accept yourself, respect others; 3. the meaning of your name and expectations; 4. crisis management; 5. gender conflict and solution, 6. break the stereotype were helpful and positive on the Primary 2 pupils’ knowledge and life practice of gender equity. C. Using cartoons as gender equity teaching materials successfully brought out pupils’ interests and high satisfactions.
