Methods: Twenty-four college male subjects, involving 10 sets of 10 repetitions of back squats at 60% of their 1-repetition maximum, all participants were randomly assigned into vibration foam rolling (VFR, n = 8), foam rolling (FR, n = 8), control (CON, n = 8) groups. On Days 0-4, the creatine kinase (CK), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), range of motion (ROM), visual analog scale (VAS), power, speed, agility and dynamic strength-endurance of all participants, including control subjects were measured. In this study, two-way analysis of variance (group by time) with repeated measures were employed for the statistical analysis and LSD hoc test, the significance was set at α = .05. Results: After exercise trigger EIMD, the use of foam rolling massage or vibration foam rolling showed no significant difference between two groups on ROM, VAS, respectively. According to the results of the blood biochemical analysis, after exercise showed the muscle damage, but no effect of CK and LDH to vibration foam rolling or foam rolling groups. The foam rolling massage or vibration foam rolling cannot relief dynamic performance measures (power, speed, agility and dynamic strength-endurance) after exercise-induced muscle damage. Conclusions: After the exercise-induced muscle damage uses vibration foam rolling or foam rolling cannot improve DOMS and dynamic performance measures. It is recommended to use the vibration foam roller or the foam roller as a warm-up to prevent delayed-onset muscle soreness. Chin-Mou Liu 劉錦謀 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 76 zh-TW
