Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 教育學系碩士班 === 105 === This study aimed to investigate and understand elementary school teachers’ perspective on developing Teacher-Student relationship, including teacher’s roles and coping strategies during the period of developing Teacher-Student relationship. The case study had adopted semi-structured interview for data collection for the period of 4 month. The study is based on an elementary school teacher in Pingtung Taiwan. The findings of the study were summarized as follows:
1. A teacher usually plays various roles during the process of building teacher-Student relationship, and he/she would play different roles depending on different situations.
2. Depending on different stage of the process of developing Teacher-Student relationship, a teacher would use different strategies to develop teacher-Student relationship.
In conclusion, based on this study result to propose adequate advices on “developing Teacher-Student relationship” strategies, and recommendations for further study, as well as reference for teaching practice and future study.
