Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育經營與管理學系 === 105 === This study aims to examine the effect of integrating information technology into Research Project Course on the metacognition of the gifted students in elementary school. Reacher duration is totally seven weeks, and 120 minutes per week.The subject are eighteen participants who are fifth grade gifted students. Through seven weeks, data collected through semi-structured interview, classroom observation, pre- and post-questionnaires of metacognition to analyze. Finding of this current study were follows:
1.Integrating information technology into research project course inspired students to discover their learning strategies.
2.By demonstrating and explaining the metacognition on the screen, teachers could significantly enhanced students’ skills of goal planning, learning strategies and the research progresses.
3.Integrating information technology into research project course enabled students to aware their preparation and self-reflection automatically.
4.Integrating information technology into research project course enabled students to adjust their learning strategies to improve their learning efficiency.
5.Integrating information technology into research project course improved students to set their goals and examine their accomplishment.
6.Teachers have to continuously consult about the students’ course of learning and ideas, clarifying the excellence and weakness in learning.
7.Students have to utilize the informations on the internet and discuss to reflect on their learning.
Finally, according to the conclusions of this study, suggestions for designing teaching instruction and implications for instructors and future research were given.
