Taiwan’s securities market have experienced considerable difficulties in recent years such as economic recession, tax hikes in gains from securities and shrinking trading volume of Taiwan shares. This has led to a significant loss of talents in Taiwan’s securities firms. It has become an urgent problem for HR managers in Taiwan’s securities companies to come up with solutions to find the right person for the position. The study analyzes the development of human resource management related activities based on data collected from “Career Personality Aptitude System (CPAS)” of a C securities firm, examining entrusted salespersons for securities transactions. The study also uses the decision tree analysis to explore the connection between personal data and CPAS as well as association rules in data mining regarding performance, error accounts, the duration on the job, and resignation The results are as follows: 1.This study attempted to discover connections between performance, error accounts, the duration on the job as well as resignation, and association rules in data mining regarding "departments", "creative","blood type" , "sensibility" , "equable emotion", "education", "independent", "age" and "challenging". These analyses can help HR managers to find solutions to recruitment and selection, training, promotion as well as retention. 2. Data collected from CPAS of a C securities firm is leveraged to ensure that approach and research methods are effective. This study also examined CPAS of the C securities company and realized some similarities between talent standards and the study results. We suggest that the level of “challenges” should be raised to the highest degree, with a moderate level of “independent” and "sensibility" as two other core competencies. The purpose of the study is not only to formulate effective employee recruiting strategies for enterprises, but it also aims to provide companies with examples to make good use of data mining techniques for the recruitment and selection as well as human resource management.
