There were 23 students in the treatment group, and 25 students in the control group, which completed twelve weeks of experimental teaching. The experimental group was taught by processed-based writing approach while the control group was taught in a traditional approach. The analysis of data were carried out by means of writing rating scale, course satisfaction survey, and students interview. students. Both qualitative and quantitative data analyses were performed through statistical means and content analysis. Results showed processed-based writing approach significantly improved the learners writing competence. Students felt very satisfied with the course design.
