Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 幼兒教育學系 === 106 ===   The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of picture book teaching on improving emotional awareness, expression, understanding and adjustment ability of children's shyness, anger, nervousness and fear, and to understand the dilemmas and solutions that teachers encounter in the teaching. The research object were 25 children in a private 5-6 year-old class in Chiayi City, 9 boys and 16 girls. During the study, data were collected from video recording, classroom observations, teaching reflection, workshop, children’s work, offical and non- parental interviews. Triangular verification was used to analyze the data.   The results of this study are as follows: 1.About shyness, children learnt how to use positive strategies to enhance self-confidence to face and regulate this emotion. 2.After picture book teaching, children could honestly confront and express their feelings about anger, then used healthy attitudes to regulate it. 3.Children learnt to understand the reasons that caused nervousness, then encouraged themselves to face the emotion bravely, finally used strategies to make themselves feel relaxed to improve the disturbed feelings. 4.After learning from the picture book teaching, children could explain their inner fear objects, used rational thinking and positive attitudes to reduce their fear.
