There were five students in the middle grades from the remedial English course invited to join this study. The study was practiced in Blue Ocean elementary school in Taichung city. The teaching program had lasted for 9 weeks, once a week and 40 minutes every lesson. Research data included both qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative data included researcher’s reflective dairies, class observations, interview records, and the students’ feedback. Quantitative data were collected through an English motivation measuring survey. The result of this study are listed as follows, 1.The influence of integrating arts with English picture books teaching on students’ English learning motivation. (1) The English learning motivation and the creative ideas of students were both enhanced because of the flexible course schedule. (2) Students’ English learning motivations were affected by the learning atmosphere created by peers. (3) The students resonate with the learning process because the course is related to their life experience. 2 .The problems and solutions appears. (1)Teacher should adjust the design of curriculum and teaching strategies for students in accord with students’ different learning style.
