The curriculums are divided into three different units: “How to set the main purpose”, “How to select the proper materials” and “How to use words and construct sentences” , along with a variety of teaching strategies. A record will be kept as reference to those who would like to teach writing skills in the future. My study duration was 9 weeks starting from November, 2017 to January, 2018. The method I use on my study is Action Research and the objects of my study are 26 students in the 9th grade in New Taipei city. By having them take 17 lessons on micro-writing, I reviewed my work of the past nine weeks and came to the following results: 1.The 9th grade students did showed improvements on their writing skills by taking the micro-writing lessons. (1)Most of the students made good progress on their last composition. Over 64% of the students made brilliant improvements on using words and constructing sentences in particular. (2)Two spotting students both made improvements on the last composition, above all, on using words and constructing sentences. 2.Students are all having positive reactions on micro-writing lessons. (1)After taking the lessons, Over 90% of the students can understand the importance of selecting proper materials for writing and also the importance of wording and phrasing. (2)Over 90% of the students agree with the fact that micro-writing is beneficial to improve their writing abilities. (3)Over 90% of the students like the harmonizing atmosphere during class and also the way I teach them to write. 3.By adding micro-writing to their writing lessons, it can change the students’ attitude towards writing and inspire their motivation to write. In the end of this research, I have some conclusions and personal advices on how to construct micro-writing lessons in the future.
