Real-time quantitative PCR method for detection and quantification of Clostridioides difficile cells and spores
A quantitative PCR method was developed for the detection of Clostridioides difficile Chaperonin-60 gene. The method had a specificity for C. difficile strains of clinical and epidemiological importance and allowed for quantification of C. difficile cells and spores. © 2022 The Authors
