Cytosolic serine hydroxymethyltransferase controls lung adenocarcinoma cells migratory ability by modulating AMP kinase activity
Lung cancer is a very aggressive tumor that often forms brain metastases. We show that lung cancer cells motility, fundamental for the formation of metastases, is controlled by amino acids such as serine and glycine, abundant in brain microenvironment.
